BHOPAL : An officer of Indian embassy in the southern African nation, Mozambique along with a team of The Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd officers would conduct a search operation to locate the missing trainee electrical navy officer Sandeep Yadav.
Union minister for road transport and highways and shipping Nitin Gadkari has instructed his OSD to talk to authorities of the shipping company for proper investigation and search for the missing officer as soon as possible. He assured Bhupendra Yadav, brother of missing trainee officer Sandeep that an officer of Indian embassy would supervise the search operation, along with investigation officers of Shipping Company. They would also go to the spot in Indian Ocean from where Sandeep is said to be going missing.
MP Alok Sanjar told Free Press Journal that, minister for external affairs Sushma Swaraj would meet Bhupendra on Wednesday morning. Bhupendra Yadav, the brother of missing officer Sandeep Yadav is in Delhi along with MP Sanjar.
He went there to request ministry of foreign affairs for help. He met Union minister Nitin Gadkari also and requested him to locate his brother. Bhupendra went to Delhi on Monday Night along with MP Sanjar they would be staying there till Wednesday.
Bhopal based Sandeep Yadav went missing in Indian ocean on March 3 while he was on his way to Mozambique in South Africa in a ship owned by a Mumbai based company – The Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd. Sandeep is a trainee electrical officer.
