BHOPAL : The Misrod police have registered a case of forgery against an impersonator who was caught while taking LDC exam conducted by Kendriya Vidyalaya Samiti on Friday. Besides the impersonator, police have also arrested the original candidate.

TI Misrod Anil Shukla said that Kendriya Vidhyalaya Samiti conducted a written exam for the recruitment on the posts of lower division clerk in the organisation. The exam was conducted at KV no 3 at Danish Nagar from where one of the candidates Naveen Jaat (21) who hails from Haryana was found appearing in place of Ravi Jaat (22) who was also from the same state.

Invigilators of the exam centre spotted that the face of examinee was not matching with the picture on the admit card after which the police were informed.

During further interrogation, the arrested accused Naveen confessed he was appearing in the exam as an impersonator in place of Ravi Jaat who was also arrested by the police.

Later both the arrested accused were presented in the court from where they were taken on police remand and were being further quizzed about the agent who were linked with them.
