Badnawar : An Inpersonater  was nabbed during class 10th MP Board’s examination here on Wednesday. He was giving examination in-place of another student. Police have arrested both the students. The fake examinee is the nephew of real examinee.

According to sources, a student Dinesh, son of Shankarlal Nath, resident of village Sujalana, under Bilpank police station, had filled the examination form from Ambika Aadarsh Higher Secondary School, Badnawar as a private student. He was allotted roll number 165206882 and got the examination centre at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Badnawar.

First paper of the examination was of Sanskrit, but in the room no 8 of the school, in place of him, his nephew Ramlal, son of Dhulaji Nath, resident of village Sarwan (Ratlam) was writing the answer paper. He was allotted an answer book and he had started the writing. After 20 to 25 minutes, when the on duty an assistant teacher Sharada Dabar came to him to take his signature on attendance paper, found the signatures were not matching from the original signature of the student. The teacher matched the photograph and found the difference. She immediately informed the examination centre in-charge Laxmanrao Jadhav. Jadhav called him at his room and enquired.  During the inquiry, he confessed the real story and said he had been giving the examination in place of his uncle. He said that his uncle asked him to give the exam in place of him as his Sanskrit was poor. Ramlal said that his uncle was present outside the examination centre.

But, the school staff could not find Dinesh there. The centre in-charge immediately informed the SDM Ekta Jaiswal and police. He also sent detail report to MP State Education Board Secretary, District Collector and other officials. SDM Jaiswal and Tehsildar SN Darro reached at the examination centre and handed over the fake student Ramlal to police. Later on police also have arrested his uncle Dinesh and registered a case under section 419 of IPC. Total 449 examinees were registered at the examination centre and out of them 36 were found absent. Police said that during interrogations, both the accused said that they were ninth failed students.
