BHOPAL : Special Task Force (STF) may soon arrest Bharat Mishra in contractual teachers’ appointment fraud. At present, he is being interrogated in Pre-PG Medical admission anomalies. Mishra’s police remand expired on Monday and he has been sent to judicial custody till July 28.
Besides, principal system analyst Nitin Mahindra has also been sent to judicial custody in contractual teachers’ appointment fraud till July 28.
Nitin Mahindra was taken on police remand for the confrontation on production warrant with Bharat Mishra after Mishra surrendered.
STF DSP Indradesh Tripathi, interacting with media in the court premises, said, “Bharat Mishra and Nitin Mahindra have been sent to judicial custody in Pre-PG medical admission and contractual teachers’ appointment frauds respectively. STF has some evidence and we are collecting more evidences. And soon, STF will arrest Bharat Mishra in connection with contractual teachers’ appointment fraud.” In reply to question on outcome of confrontation, Tripathi said, “STF got some vital clues in the confrontation. But it can not be disclosed at this stage.” STF also produced Rekha Soni of Rewa and Samarjit Kumar of Bhind in contractual teachers’ (III) scam in the court of CJM Pankaj Singh Maheshwari and both were sent to judicial custody, Tripathi added.
STF declares rewards on middlemen, scorers
STF has declared rewards on middlemen and scorers in Vypam scam. Rs 5000 has been declared reward has been declared on Arun Sikarawar of Morena, Ajit Kumar of Bihar and Rs 3000 on Rahul Jaiswal of Jaunpur(UP), Parirakshit Yadav of Azamgarh(UP). All are wanted in constables’ recruitment 2013 fraud. Arun Sikarwar, Rahul and Parirakshit are middlemen while Ajit is scorer. Meanwhile, STF has arrested scorer Naman Kumar Bhandari, 22, of Madhuwani, Bihar in connection with constables’ recruitment fraud.
