BHOPAL : With the ban on transfers lifted, the in-charge ministers should ensure that there are no complaints in this regard, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan told ministers at a specially-convened meeting at his residence on Tuesday evening.
The CM asked the ministers to tour the districts in their charge. He also sought information on ministers who have not visited the districts in their charge so far. Some of the ministers stated that because of monsoon session they were busy in the assembly, so they were not able to visit their in-charge districts. He also asked the minister to hold review meetings of their departments. He asked them to plan some innovative ideas to be implemented.
He asked the ministers who have been given the responsibility of solving the problems of the people in different parts of the Shahdol Lok Sabha constituency to visit the area immediately.
Transfer policy announced
The state government announced its transfer policy on Tuesday which will be valid up to August 16. The school education and police department are not covered under the policy because they have their own transfer policies. The general administration department has issued a circular saying that the transfers can be done from August 1, to 16.
The transfer proposal will be sent to the in-charge ministers of the district through the collector and after the minister’s approval the district head of the department will issue the transfer orders. If inter-district transfer is required, then the department have to prepare the proposal and have to take the chief minister’s approval, after that the transfer can be done.
