I-T raids: BJP demands removal of DGP VK Singh

BJP has demanded removal of Director General Of Police (DGP) VK Singh. A delegation of BJP met the Election Commission accusing DG Singh of helping the Congress. The delegation said that a police team was sent to Platinum Plaza where income tax raids were going on at Ashwini Sharma’s place. I-T raids were also on at CM Kamal Nath’s close aide RK Miglani and Praveen Kakkad.

BJP said that the police teams were sent to create hurdle in the work of I-T teams that were raiding close aides of CM. Police teams went there on directions of the DGP therefore he should be removed from the post immediately else he could affect free and fair elections in the state.
