BHOPAL : STF filed a supplementary chalan of 243 pages in the court of chief judicial magistrate Pankaj Singh Maheshwari on Thursday against mining baron Dr Sudhir Sharma and eight others in constable recruitment fraud of 2012.

This is the first chalan against Sharma filed in the court.

The other co- accused against whom supplementary chalan has been filed included Pritam Malviya, CK Raghuvanshi, Balkrishna Raghuvanshi, Sudhir Kumar Sharma, Vishambhar Singh, Dharmendra Singh, Bhim Singh and Abhilash Sharma.

The main chalan against 31 accused, mainly candidates, has already been filed in the court.

The STF has charged Dr Sudhir Sharma of felicitating selections of candidates – Ankit Rawat, Sudhir

Kumar Sharma, Durgesh Singh Purabia, Brijesh Sahu and Bharat Singh Thakur.

Sudhir Sharma, in his memorandum, which did not bear his signature, said, ” Congress leader Sanjiv Saxena told me that MP Professional Examination Board system analyst Nitin Mahindra was not facilitating selection of three candidates Durgesh Singh Purabia, Brijesh Sahu and Bharat Singh Thakur.

Later, I simply sent those three names to former exam controller Pankaj Trivedi and told him that

Sanjiv Saxena will meet you. I had also forwarded photocopy of test admit card of Ankit Rawat to Pankaj Trivedi for selection.

Trivedi had told me that talks are on with CRISP for the upgradation of strong room.

I had gone MPPEB when Trivedi had called me. I was the director of CRISP in 2012- 13.” Challan has already been filed on July 3 in constables’ recruitment- 2012 fraud against 42 accused, including former minister Laxmikant Sharma, Congress leader Sanjiv Saxena, Governor’s OSD Dhanraj adav and Vyapam officials.
