BHOPAL : To ensure huge gathering at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in Bhabhra on Tuesday, the administration has acquired schools buses from over seven districts to bring people to the venue. All schools in Indore, Ratlam, Dhar, Jhabua, Khargone, Badwani and Alirajpur have been ordered to close for the day. Modi will launch ‘Azadi-70, Yaad Karo Kurbani’ campaign on Tuesday in Bhabhra, birth place of revolutionary leader Chandrashekhar Azad, in Alirajpur district on the anniversary of the Quit India Movement.

Heavy rains are also posing problems in arranging crowd for Modi’s visit. To ensure that everything goes well, the government has assigned the collectors of adjoining districts the responsibility of making arrangements for the rally.

District collectors have been directed  to arrange for the buses to ferry people from the nearby areas to make Bhabra rally a huge success. Collectors have announced holidays for the schools as school buses were acquired by the administration. Some collectors in their orders have clearly stated that it was being done in connection with Modi’s visit.

Minister of state for school education, Deepak Joshi said Prime Minister is highly popular in the country these days. Everyone wishes to listen to his speech and collectors have done nothing wrong in announcing holidays to ensure that school students and others go to listen to Modi. The Prime minister will land at Indore airport at 11.55 am and proceed to Bhabhra immediately in a chopper, reaching there at 1.05 pm. He will drive from the helipad to the Shahid Smarak – a small memorial built to commemorate Azad, who was born in the town on July 23, 1906. After paying tributes at the memorial, he will address a public meeting. He is scheduled to stay at the meeting venue from 1.45 pm to 3.00 pm. He will reach Indore at 4.00 en route to Delhi.

Why Modi uncle needs our buses?

BHOPAL : An eighth class student has written a letter to Modi requesting him not to use school buses for taking people to Bhabhra.

Devansh Jain who studies in class 8th of Vidhya Kunj International School in his letter expressed concern on the use of school buses for transporting people to Bhabhra for two days. In his letter he said, “ I am a big fan of yours and because of you I have stopped talking to few of my friends, who are against you but I am afraid that like your last visit to Sehore- Vidisha, our buses were used and when I enquired to our bus driver he said that it has been ordered by collector and RTO and if we don’t follow their orders,  our bus facility will be shut and if we will complaint, Shivraj Mama will close our school too. Is it true that if we don’t follow collector’s order our school will be closed? How will I reach school? Is sending people for your speech more important than my studies? I hope you are not like Congress politicians who make false promises. Please ask Shivraj Mama to not use our buses. People travel from far to listen to your speeches, you don’t need our buses. If you do so, I will be able to claim in front of my friends that Modi uncle can gather crowd with just his speech.”
