BHOPAL : Meteorological department has predicted heavy rains in Bhopal and other divisions in the next 24 hours. 6.4cm up to 24 cm rain is likely in the city and surrounding areas. Depression over East Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas has moved west –northwards. Warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall has been given by weather man.
Katani recorded 21cm eainfall while Khurai recorded 19cm and Umaria and Damoh 17cm rainfall in the last 24 hours. Patan recorded 16cm while Kotma, Khilchipur, Lateri and Bichhia recorded 15cm rainfall.
Jaisingnagar recorded 14cm while Khajuraho, Bhanpura, Chanderi, Kurwai and Sohagpur recorded 13cm rainfall. Tikamgarh recorded 12cm while Narsingarh, Rajgarh, Guna, Tendukheda, Devri, Baxwaha and Nainpur recorded 11cm rainfall. Amarkantak, Pichhore and Sehora recorded 10cm rainfall while Narsingpur, Rehali, Beowara, Sironj, Ganjbasoda, Chadora and Kundam recorded 9cm rainfall. Pushprajgarh, Jaura, Silwani, Ashoknagar, Jaitheri, Hatta, Gotegaon, Chhattarpur, Kareli, Majhauli, Bina recorded 8cm while Ajaygarh, Rajnagar, Begumganj, Mungawali, Dabara, Morena, Garoth, Dindori 7cm, Jabalpur, Panna, Satna, Anooppur, Karera, Sushner, Gwalior, Udaipura, and Agar recorded 6cm rainfall in the last 24 hours.
According to Meteorological department has predicated heavy to very heavy rainfall at few places with extremely heavy rainfall at Indore and Ujjain division in next 24 hours. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places over Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Sagar, and Gwalior division during the next 24 hours.
