Heavy rain warning for Bhopal

BHOPAL : Light rain drenched City on Tuesday. Heavy rain is likely in Bhopal division and other divisions in the next 24 hours. Throughout the day, it was cloudy weather and it kept on precipitating.

Monsoon is active over Eastern parts of the state. Deep depression over Jharkhand and adjoining area now lies adjoining to Chhattisgarh. Rain to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur at few places over the state except Indore, Ujjain, Rewa division.

In the last 24 hours, monsoon was active in various divisions like Rewa, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Chambal, Sagar, Shahdol. Besides, Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Ujjain and Indore experienced rain.

As monsoon was active in the state, Karera recorded 22cm while Sidhi recorded 18cm and Pichhore 17cm rainfall in the last 24 hours. Similarly, Tikamgarh recorded 16cm while   Kotma recorded 12cm and Jauthri, Guna, and Gadarwara recorded 10cm rainfall.  Chanderi and  Dabara recorded 9cm while  Anoopur, Amarkantak and  Sheopurkalan recorded 8cm and   Gadakota, Dindori, Katangi, Pachmarhi and Udaipura recorded 7cm rainfall. Rewa, Ishagarh and  Morena recorded 6cm while  Khajuraho, Malajhkand, Indore, Bhind, Lahar and  Depalpur recorded 6cm rainfall in the last 24 hours. According to Meteorological department, heavy to very heavy rain is likely in all over the state.
