BHOPAL : System formed at Bay of Bengal has weakened but Arabian Sea’s system has crossed Diu and is looking vigorous which is likely to precipitate in Indore. Heavy rain is likely in Bhopal Indore, Hoshangabad, Ujjain, in the next 48 hours.
Weatherman has issued high alert for Sehore and Dindori and alert for Susner and Budani. Rain and thundershower will occur at most places over Indore, Jabalpur and Shahdol divisions and at many places over Hoshangabad, Bhopal, Ujjain and Sidhi, Singrauli districts. Heavy rainfall would likely over Alirajpur, Badwani, Khargone, Dhar, Jhabua, Mandla, Balaghat, Dindori and Anuppur districts.
Director Meteorological department Dr Anupam Kashyapi said, “Heavy rain is likely in Indore from Wednesday morning to Thursday as the system which has been formed Arabian Sea has crossed Diu and is highly vigorous. This system will precipitate in form of heavy rain in Indore, Ujjain, Hoshangabad and Bhopal. Monsoon has advanced toward other parts including Ratlam, Sidhi and moved to Patna (Bihar). Monsoon is covering entire state.”
