Connectivity with contribution of the state government for the project is expected to benefit the local community

BHOPAL : The state government has given permission to Bharat Broadband Network Limited to implement national optical fibre project in all village panchayats of the state in collaboration with the government of India. A notification in this regard has been issued.

The state government departments, offices, local bodies, public undertakings and agencies of the state government would not impose any right of way on the construction of information technology highway being developed by the Network. This has been done as the connectivity will benefit the local community. This cooperation will be considered as contribution of the state government for the project.

This work is being done to provide broadband connectivity to village panchayats which will benefit local communities and state government. Bharat Broadband Limited will also be provided adequate place and electricity for the establishment of its equipment and devices on Panchayat buildings or any place at cost basis.
