BHOPAL : A programme ‘Kakshaabhyas’ was organised at Madhya Pradesh School of Drama (MPSD) here on Monday – the concluding day of a week-long workshop organised by MPSD that was conducted by noted German dramatist Nicholas Dutch. By the performance, students showcased their creativity through emotion and action.
During the class presentation Nicholas gave few situations to the students to perform on stage. Nicholas believes that this way the students will not only learn to perform but will also be able to create scripts in their mind.
First, the students were asked to choose a partner then were asked to select the protagonist and antagonists’ role. Then they were given a sheet of paper with more than ten questions. Nicholas asked them to find the answers of all of them and create an act. The students according to the given questions prepared acts and presented showcasing their abilities.
Speaking about the activity, Nicholas said “As a dramatist and as a drama teacher I explained a lot of different ways out to do this activity.”
