Ganjbasoda (Madhya Pradesh): Encroachments and lack of cleanliness on Ramleela ground and surrounding areas have irked residents.

According to local people, encroachments can be seen at various new places in the town.

Waterlogging is the order of the day at the bus stand due to a drainage system encroached upon in the area. At the same time, contaminated water overflows in the area due to choked drains. Water logging also leads to breeding of mosquitoes and vector borne diseases in the localities.

Additionally, travellers are facing shortage of water while they are amid sweltering heat. To make matters worse, poor road conditions causes inconvenience to commuters but despite several complaints to authorities, the roads are not repaired.
