BAGH: A gang of robbers looted two bikers in a day and injured them badly on Thursday at Bagh-Kukshi road. Injured were rushed to the Bagh health center and were undergoing treatment. Police have registered the case and started further investigation.
As per the received information, first incident was reported around 4 pm when mobile shop employees Shambhu Sen and Ritesh Patel were returning to Indore after getting payment of Rs 70,000.
A gang of robbers attacked them near Naingaon Fate and started pelting stones. They both lost the balance and fell off the bike. Robbers took the advantage and looted all the money, and valuables.
Narrating the ordeal, victims said that there were around seven or eight robbers who overtook their bike and attacked them. Some passersby rushed them to the Bagh health center and informed the police. Second incident was reported near Laalghati at 8 pm when victim Teju Ramu Gehlot and Dinesh Bhuria were heading to home.
They were also attacked with stones during which Teju suffered severe head injuries. However, Dinesh was riding the bike and didn’t stop. He took Teju to the hospital and informed the police. These incidents have created a sense of insecurity among the residents, as just in a day the gang has looted two bikers and are still roaming free.
