BHOPAL: Around a dozen of people were duped by a thug along with his accomplices on pretext of providing cheap LPG cylinder connections in Jehangirabad area on Thursday.The incident came to light when one of the victims grew suspicious and inquired about such scheme at his level after which he lodged a complaint against thugs at Jehangirabad police station.
According to police sources, a 46-year-old victim Mahesh Verma, resident of Bheem Nagar in his complaint stated that on Wednesday, Rakesh, Dharmendra and their accomplices came to his house and told him about a scheme in which he would get LPG gas cylinder connection for merely Rs 50. They said that he would get a single bottle connection for Rs 1,000 and double bottle connection in Rs 2,500.
