HOSHANGABAD : District in-charge and horticulture minister Surya Prakash Meena performed the bhoomi pujan of the building of a government primary school at Balaganj in Hoshangabad on Tuesday. The in-charge minister also planted saplings on the premises of the school.
Assembly Speaker Dr Sitasharan Sharma, district collector Sanket Bhondwe and district superintendent of police Ashutosh Pratap Singh welcomed him at the local circuit house on his first visit to the district after becoming the minister in-charge. Municipality head Akhilesh Khandelwal and other district representatives presented mementoes to him.
The minister said that CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan had transformed the sick state into a developed one. The CM’s dream was that the state should march forward on the road to progress. Therefore the citizen of the state should take interest in developmental works. The PM of the country also wants that the people should get the benefit of various schemes that are being run by the government for the people. He said that the CM has asked the in-charge ministers to visit districts under their charge at least twice every month and to listen to the problems of the people and review the developmental projects. He said “I will come here four times every month and if people are having any problem, they have to just tell me. It will be solved”. He also appealed to the people to fulfill the dreams of the PM and be with BJP government.
