Flood fury in Manawar

Manawar : The plagued flood in the region has created a mess in the lives of Manawar residents. There has been massive loss due to the sudden flooding. Due to the collapsed bridge of the Maan River, Indore-Manawar roads have been closed down. However, people can walk on the collapsed bridge as of now.

Farmers, who have their farms on the other side of the river, are facing a critical time as they are not able to take their cattle for grazing. On the other hand, if the bridge is not repaired soon, it shall create difficulties for school students and working people. It may noted that the flood had submerged Kahar Mohalla, Durga Talkies, Prajapati Gali and other lower area localities, have now turned into sticky muddy areas.

The MPRDC officials have inspected the collapsed bridge and the repairing has been started. As per the information received, MLA Ranjana Baghel visited the flood affected people and the flood victims demanded for the compensation money. They also showed her the broken and submerged houses. The victims also expressed their aggression of not being informed about the opening of the gates of the dam. As per the victims, the information may have caused less of loss. They did not even had a chance of taking the essentials with them. MLA Ranjana Baghel assured the victims that she shall provide them with every possible help. During the inspection, she was accompanied with SDM Abhay Ahoriya, SDOP Dhiraj Babbar, CMO Rajendra Mishra, Committee Head Mahendra Parihar, Rakesh Patel, Mukesh Mandloi, Samirmal Jain, Rajesh Tomar, corporator JD Johri, Dinesh Saran, Intakaab Bakshi, Mangilal Sanwle and Dinesh Johri.
