Besides oaths, other business also on agenda
BHOPAL: The maiden session of the newly- elected 14th Legislative Assembly will begins from December 18. Two days of the session will be devoted for administering oaths to the MLAs, said official sources. The nine- day session is expected to continue till December 26 with seven sittings, including on Saturdays.
Proposal in this regard has been sent to chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan for approval by the Legislative Affairs department.After the nod, it will be sent to Governor Ramnaresh adav for issuance of notification, said the sources.
The government may move three bills in the session including second supplementary budget for getting funds for developmental works. session which has been earlier held only for administering oath to new MLAs. “ Earlier, first sessions of the assembly used tobeveryshortbecause theywereonlyheldforadministering oath to new MLAs. This time, the government has proposedbusinessforthesession,” saidth
