Finance dept sanction necessary for operating govt account

Hoshangabad : Finance department’s sanction is necessary to operate any government account. Collector Sanket Bhondwe, giving this instruction in a review meeting here, said that if any account has been opened in the past, it should be closed immediately.

Reviewing progress of Chief Minister’s Self Employment Scheme, the collector gave instructions to speed up the work and distribute loans to as many youths. He asked the officials to minutely inspect the scholarships being given in government colleges.

The collector asked the district marketing officer to prepare a list of available facilities at the urea rake points. Facilities such as adequate lighting, drinking water, approach road and platform should be ensured. He also said that a sports ground should me made in Mehdibara, Piparia on ceiling land. The collector gave instructions to speed up the proceedings with regard to appointments on compassionate ground.
