Bhopal: The election commission has sought report from the NHDC (Narmada hydroelectric development corporation) on a complaint that it had allotted CSR (corporate social responsibility) funds to RSS affiliated Sewa Bharti. On November 15 RTI activist Ajay Dubey had complained that the NHDC has allotted more than Rs 1.25 crore from the CSR fund to RSS affiliated organisation Sewa Bharti in Dabra and Gwalior district.
The fund was released on November 12 – after implementation of model code of conduct. The complaint said that general manager, CSR VK Gupta had signed an MoU with Vimal Tyagi of Sewa Bharti. The complaint mentions involvement of MD AG Ansari, vice president of NHDC Rajnish Vaish and member technical R Malivya and demands action against them for violation of model code. The NHDC has to file its report by November 18.
