Katni : A farmer committed suicide by hanging himself in village Bilahari under police station Kuthla. It is said that he was annoyed because his name was not included in the relief fund distribution list.
Another aspect is that he was not satisfied with the family property division. Police after registering a case is investigating the case. According to the sources, Parasram Chourasiya of age 52 committed suicide by hanging himself.
The villagers are saying that he was annoyed of not being included in the relief of drought relief fund. The reason behind this is that he did not had an electric pump installed in his farmland because of which the administrative team did not included his name in the relief fund distribution list. In spite of this, he did not lost hope and filed an objection at the Lokseva centre but he did not got any result hence he committed suicide.
On the other hand the police are saying that he committed suicide due to a land dispute. Tehsildar has given the orders for investigation.
