BHOPAL : A dead body was found near the JK hospital on Friday. Hospital staff recognised it as that of 70-year-old Soma. Soma, of village Damkheda under Berasia police station, was admitted to JK hospital for treatment of his eyes on Wednesday.
According to the police, Lions club had organised an eye check up camp in that village on January 4.
Soma was treated by the doctors at the camp and was referred to Bhopal’s JK hospital for further treatment. As per the advice of the Lions club, Soma came to the hospital and was admitted there. Surgery was performed on his eyes on January 6.
On Friday he was found lying dead on the hospital premises. Shahpura police have lodged an FIR and are probing the incident from all angles.
