Excise dept seizes 120 litre spirit, accused flee

Sendhwa : The team of excise department Sendhwa has seized 120-liter spirit and three motorcycles from Dhawali village on Saturday. However, the bike riders managed to flee. Police have registered the case. District assistant excise officer RS Roy informed that under the guidance of district excise officer Parakram Singh Chandrawat, they had conducted this raid after getting a tip off about the illicit spirit smuggling. Acting promptly on the information, the team reached village Dhawali and started searching for the accused. They identified three miscreants who were on bikes, but before they could nab them, the miscreants fled in jungles. Police have seized 120-liter spirit and three motorcycles and registered a case under excise act.
