BHOPAL : Eunuchs want passes for them in metro train (whenever it is started), housing, medical and education facilities in the smart city. They also demanded identity cards for them to move in various colonies. They also assured Mayor to propagate smart city scheme through lyrics in the society.
Suraiya Nayak, eunuch head, speaking on smart city on Tuesday, said, “Bhopal is identified for its lakes so these lakes should be encroachment free while transforming Bhopal into smart city. Similarly, there must be provision of passes for eunuchs in metro trains whenever it is started in Bhopal. On pattern of Chhattisgarh, there should be provision of accommodation for the eunuch. There should be separate space for cultural programme for eunuch.”
Baby eunuch said, “There must be seat reservations in passenger trains for eunuchs.” Eunuch Sarita said, “There should be better medical facilities for eunuch.” Mahak said, “There should be separate colony for eunuchs in the middle of the city.” They also demanded employments in the smart city. Mayor Alok Sharma assured that eunuchs would be provided facilities like identity cards in the smart city. They also be given other facilities in the smart city, Mayor said, adding, ” Eunuchs are also a part of our society and their views are valuable for us while transforming Bhopal into smart city.”
