Bhopal: The Bhopal Court has sent the four accused of the e-tendering scam into police remand for four days, on Thursday. The team is back from Bangalore after seizing the scam related data. The SP Economic Offences Wing Arun Mishra said that three accused of Osmo IT solution: Vinay Coudhary, Varun Chaturvedi and Sumit Bolwalkar were arrested on April 11.
They were presented in the Court twice and the Court had sent them on remand till April 18.
On Thursday they were presented in the court again and the Court has again sent them on PR till April 22nd. A government officer Nand Kumar Bharmhe was also arrested by the police on Sunday, he was also presented in the Court. The Court has also given the police remand till April 22nd. The team of EOW has also conducted raid at the Antrance software company situated in Bangalore.
The team had returned on Thursday after seizing data and other relevant materials from the office. The images of servers had been captured by the team. The forensic team will study the images and latter the action will be taken accordingly. The team had also seized the other data from the office, some of the hard disk and other related documents are also seized.
Sources informed that the directors as well as the government officer had revealed the names of the people who are involved in the scam. The police want more information from them and also wanted time to plan the strategy to make more arrests into the case. The police also want to know the modus operandi of the accused and other person involved in the scam.
