The Bhopal Court has sent the three directors, of Osmo IT Solution Pvt Ltd, accused of e-tendering scam, to three-day police remand, here on Friday. After the raid on the Osmo IT Solution private limited Company now a Banagalore-based IT firm- Entrance IT private limited Company is also under Economic Offences Wing’s (EOW) scanner. EOW is likely to arrest the g overnment officials involved in the tendering works of the departments concerned.
The investigating agency for the e-tendering scam- EOW has conducted the raid on the Osmo IT Solution Company situated in Mansarovar Complex, arrested three directors of an IT and seized several hard disks, computers, documents and servers.
EOW SP Arun Mishra told Free Press that the directors of the IT firm: Vinay Coudhary, Varun Chaturvedi and Sumit Bolwalkar were arrested on Thursday and were presented in the Court on Friday. The Court had sent the accused directors to the three-day remand. According to the sources the company was involved in preparing the digital signature and helped the departments concerned to conduct the e-tendering process.
But the officials the company had allegedly tampered with the tender data after the closing of bidding process to give undue advantage to the certain firms. More raids will be conducted in the matter and government officials will be called in for questioning, Mishra added.
