Drug trafficking, addiction on rise in MP: Laxman Singh

BHOPAL: MPCC vice president and former MP Laxman Singh has said the Congress would start a campaign against drug trafficking in Madhya Pradesh from Neemuch and Mandsaur. In a press conference, Singh said Neemuch and its adjoining district have emerged as centre for drug trafficking and illegal business is flourishing across Madhya Pradesh. The drug addiction is destroying young generation. Quoting example of a private university of Raghogarh, Singh said several students of the institute are in clutch of drug addition. He alleged that the government’s anti-drug policy is responsible for it. He said the Congress would start a campaign through social media too for this making aware the society about the rising number of drug addicts. He said his party would expose political leaders sheltering drug mafia.
