Mhow : The Cantonment Board, on Tuesday initiated an encroachment drive, where the goods lying beyond the boundaries of the shops were confiscated. Merely four police persons were deputed for the task.
Mhow Cantonment Board initiated the action after a long time as width of many of the roads was narrowed because of goods which actually were placed outside the shops—on the roads, for display.
Many shopkeepers themselves had taken away the goods which were encroaching the roads. It is to be noted that the shops which encroached over the drains and over the roads, have not been touched by the squad.
