GWALIOR: Doors of ancient Kartikeya temple in Jiwajiganj are opened once a year on Kartik Purnima. On Wednesday midnight the doors of the temple were opened for public for worshipping. The four hundred year old temple is the only one to have an idol of Kartikeya, Ganga, Jamuna and Saraswati. It is believed that on this day Lord Kartikeya gives prosperity and peace. Thousands of devotees come here and worship in front of god. District administration carried out special arrangement to control public.
