BHOPAL : The Directorate of Medical Education has given an undertaking to MCI that the deficiencies pointed out by the accreditation agency in the MGM college of Indore would be removed. The accreditation of the medical college is pending due to non-adherence to MCI norms.
The DME Dr GS Patel informed Free Press that the meeting was held in Delhi with MCI regarding the accreditation of the MGM college.
The team of MCI have visited the state and had inspected the medical colleges, regarding enhancement in the number of seats in five medical colleges including Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur from 140 to 150 seats and Sagar medical college from 60 to 100. But the accreditation of MGM College was withheld.
