BHOPAL : Flying dusts resulting from delay in re-carpeting after digging, and potholes studded roads are posing serious health hazard and challenging safe driving for commuters of the state capital.
Heavy rainfall has affected the upper layers of bitumen and gravels and the gap in rain activities has turned a ride on most roads into dusty and bumpy one.
However, Mayor Alok Sharma asserted to focus on repairing and restoration work to provide relief to commuters.

Since few years lying of pipelines is going on several stretches and yet the works remains incomplete. At a few locations, minor repairs have been done. But re-carpeting is still not taken on major portion of the affected roads- as a result commuters are forced to take detours to avoid health and driving hazards.
