BHOPAL : Home Minister Babulal Gaur on Monday took stock of the preparations made for the implementation of ‘Dial 100’ scheme at Wireless Office, Bhopal. The scheme would be launched from November.
Minister Gaur said the staff to be deputed for the scheme should be imparted good training. He said the scheme would enhance the capacity of state police and give a sense of safety to the common man, besides effectively checking crimes. Gaur said it is necessary for the cent per cent implementation of the scheme that training should be given attention.
Gaur also inspected the vehicles given to the police. These vehicles are equipped with communication devices, cameras, GPS, mobile tracker, mobile phone and first-aid medical kit. It is also fitted with fire extinguisher. There is a double-layered system for communication.
Advanced telephonic devices have been used. This service would be available round-the-clock. Gaur said one Assistant Sub-inspector of police or Havaldar and one constable driver would always be present in first response vehicle (FRV).
The vehicle would reach immediately to the spot on getting instructions. A special type of siren has also been installed in the vehicle.
