Real estate market bullish; players happy
BHOPAL: Total business touched the Rs 600 crore mark in the state capital on Dhanteras on Friday. Heavy rush was witnessed in showrooms in various markets. Automobile segment recorded business of Rs 125 crore while real estate business zoomed up to Rs 125 crore.
Bullion market recorded business of Rs 120 crore. Utensils and furniture worth Rs 50 crore was sold. Electronic goods segment recorded Rs 60 crore, While other segment witnessed business of Rs 50 crore.
Sovereign gold also got good response on Dhanteras. It registered 30 per cent growth.
Various markets like New Market, 10-number market, Chowk Bazar, show rooms of automobile, jwellery shops witnessed heavy rush of purchasers on this occasion.
CREDAI general secretary Manoj Singh Meek said that 100 properties were sold on Dhanteras. It is good sign for the real estate sector, he said, adding that in the days to come, the sector will see good growth. Similarly, CMD Royals Home Amrish Rai said, “This festival season has been good for real estate. People showed tremendous enthusiasm in purchasing plots and flats.”
Bullion market Association president Navnit Agrawal said, “Electronics segment recorded Rs 60 crore sales, traditional, antique and light jwellery were sold on this occasion.” Similarly, electronic goods, utensil and furniture segment recorded a good business on this auspicious occasion.
