Desa reviews Parakh programme through video conferencing

Hoshangabad : Chief Secretary of the region Antony Desa, today inspected the preparation of online data base of those who possess arms under Parakh programme. During the inspection Collector Sanket Bhondwe said that out of 2801 licenses, information about 2408 licenses have been uploaded online.

Out of these 852 have been allotted unique ids, because of which Hoshangabad has been rated as second district to have generated online data base of the licenses.

Mandala and Seedhi districts have been ranked as the first and third districts to have registered arms online.

Commissioner VK Batham, Collector and Harda Collector Rajnish Srivastava were present during the occasion.

In the video conference, the Chief Secretary, Antony Desa directed the officials to address issues such as Lok Sewa Guarantee Yojana, resolution of complaints received through CM Helpline, and celebration of the year 2015 as Tourism year.

He said that a special Jheel Mahotsava will be organised in the state, talking about the same, he added that previously the Jheel Mahotsava was celebrated only in Bhopal, but in the coming Jheel Mahotsava will be celebrated in 9 cities of the state.

Various programmes will be organised in places such as Tawa of Hoshangabad, Tighra of Gwalior, Vaan Sagar and Choral.

He added that efforts will be made through these programmes to attract tourists to these destinations.
