Alot: In a tragic incident, a youth died after he rushed home from a bank to fetch his AADHAR card to deposit old notes at Tal near here on Tuesday.
The youth, Sanjay Prajapat (22), resident of Tal town, was in a queue at the local mandi branch of Central Bank of India to deposit old notes and when his turn came, he was told to provide his original AADHAR card for the transaction. As he was not carrying the photocopy of the ID proof the youth rushed home to bring the same, asking his father Babulal Prajapat to stand in the queue.
When the youth did not return after a long time, his father sent his son’s friend Deepak to look for him at his residence, who found Sanjay lying unconscious in his room. Deepak immediately informed Babulal about the incident and Sanjay was rushed to the Tal government hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have registered a case in the incident and sent the body for post-mortem.
Tehsildar Ramvilas Baktariya confirmed that the deceased youth and his father were in a queue to deposit old notes. Sanjay became unconscious after he reached home from the bank to fetch his AADHAR card, he said, adding that the actual reason of death could only be confirmed after the post-mortem report is available.
Dr NL Suryavanshi, who performed post-mortem, too said that the actual reason of death could be ascertained after the viscera report is received.
