BHOPAL : Showers lashed parts of the city on Saturday. Isolated, scattered rains were registered in various parts of the city. As monsoon is approaching the state the weather in the city has started turning soothing. The maximum temperature of the city dropped by 5.4 degrees, from 38.1 on Friday to 32.7 on Saturday making conditions pleasant for the cityite.
Weatherman has predicted that monsoon is approaching fast towards the state and would touch the southernmost part of the state probably by June 18. Clouds hovered over the sky most of the time on Saturday. It drizzled in afternoon and in the evening. The weather remained pleasant and colder as compared to Friday. Weatherman said that the systems formed in the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal are moving forward creating favourable situation for rains. The minimum temperature too dropped by two degrees as compared to Friday providing relief to the people.
