Covid positivity rate continues to make nose dive in Madhya Pradesh at 1.5%

BHOPAL: The corona-positive rate continues to make a nosedive in Madhya Pradesh recording 1.5 percent on Monday. Khandwa reported zero corona cases with 47 active cases. Around 5,023 Covid patients have been discharged in the state. The number of active cases dropped to 23,390 in the state. Around 75,417 samples were sent for testing, while 226 samples were rejected at the time of testing. The state reported 1,205 corona cases and the infection tally went up to 780,030.

The other districts have reported low corona cases. Tikamgarh and Bhind reported 1 case each with their active cases at 92 and 63, respectively. Burhanpur, Agar-Malwa, Alirajpur, Dindori, Rajgarh and Katni reported 2 corona cases each, while their active case are 15, 159, 18, 61, 355 and 51, respectively. Harda, Jhabua, and Mandala reported 3 corona cases each and their active cases are 101, 77 and 59, respectively.

Indore reported 391 corona cases and its tally went up to 149,816 and toll went up to 1,341. Bhopal reported 245 corona cases and its tally went up to 120,872 and toll rose to 933. Indore's active cases dropped to 3,655 and Bhopal's active cases dropped to 3,437.

Jabalpur reported 77 corona cases with 1,176, while Gwalior reported 49 corona cases with 926 active cases. Other sensitive districts which used to report a high number of corona cases now have reported below 50 corona cases. Rewa reported 18 corona case, while Sagar reported 20 corona cases. Similarly, Vidisha reported 11 corona cases. Their active cases are 442, 741 and 141, respectively.
