Couple dies, son injured in road accident

Khargone :  Going to ear the Bhagwat Katha of pandit Kamal Kishor Nagar running in Maheshwar, a couple died while their son sustained serious injuries in road accident on Sunday. The accident took place between a bike and a rashly driven bus. According to the witnesses, the accident was of such high intensity that the helmet worn by the bike rider shattered in pieces. Sumer S/O Lacchiram Patel, age 40, his wife Ramila, age 35 and their son Manish, all resident of Rangaon near the headquarter were heading towards Maheshwar where the Katha is going on, on their bike no MP 10 BA 2441 when the rashly driven bus no MP 09 AF 2209 hit their bike killing Sumer on the spot while the wife and son got gravely injured according to Maingaon police. Ramila died at the hospital while under going treatment. The son of the couple, Manish was referred to Indore after initial treatment. It is being said that the other members of the family had left for the katha one day ago. The police have seized both vehicles and started an investigation.
