NARSINGHPUR: The Kareli police have arrested two accused on the charges of vehicle lifting and burglary of utensils on Monday. The police have recovered a stolen motorcycle of Bajaj CT make bearing registration number MP49 BA 6741 from their possession. During the interrogation the accused confessed of committing the crimes.

According to sources, station in-charge of Amgaon Chowki Rajni Shukla and head constable R Satish during the patrolling stopped Bhura alias Ramesh, son of Sahablal Dhobi, resident of Kareli, on suspicion while he was going by motorcycle carrying utensils. He was unable to provide any sufficient answer regarding the bike and utensils.

The cops took him to the police station where during interrogation he confessed of stealing the motorcycle from Gadarwara and the utensils from Soni Bartan Bhandar at Bus Stand, Mungwani. He also admitted selling the stolen utensils to Mukesh Awadhia Kachi, resident of Narsinghpur. He also admitted of commiting two burglaries at a kirana shop of Ashok Udenia at Narangi trisection and Seema Garment Stores at Barmaan Square.

The cops later seized the utensils and arrested Kachi. Some stolen goods were recovered from the accused too. The special operation was conducted under the direction of Superintendent of Police Narsinghpur Manish Kapuria.
