BHOPAL: A 40- year- old man was beaten up badly by two police personnel of Cheetah at 1250 Quarter under Habibganj police station on Friday afternoon as he refused to go to the police station along with them.

In the process, the skull of man was broken and later he was admitted at JP Hospital from where he was referred to Hamidia hospital as his condition was critical from where the parents of victim took him to Narmada Hospital where he was undergoing treatment.

However, no case has been registered by the police in this regard while the kin of victim handed over a written complaint to CSP TT Nagar in this regard. As per the sources, the victim named Rajesh, 40, son of Kallu Chauhan, a resident of Arjun Nagar who worked as mistri was going to a tailor shop on Friday afternoon at around 2pm.

In the meantime two police personnel ( Cheeta) riding passion bike waylaid him and asked him to come along with them at Habibganj police station. When he refused, one of the cops hit a bamboo stick on his head after which his skull was broken.

Parents of victim alleged that there were few cases registered against his son due to which the police frequently torture him and asked to pay money even though he was involved criminal activity.No case has been registered; Kin of victim handed over a written complaint to CSP TT Nagar
