BHOPAL : A case of breach of trust was reported from Hanumanganj police station on Monday in which goods worth Rs 15 lakhs handed over to a cargo operator by a courier agency manager were not delivered to the delivery point even after 15 days. The police following the complaint of the courier agency manager registered a case against the cargo operator and started investigations.
According to police the victim Pramod, son of Rambahadur Patel in his complaint stated that he works as manager in Maruti Courier Service Private Limited located near Sangam Talkies. They deal in transporting goods from one place to other. On June 5 they received a consignment of tomato seeds and three computers worth Rs 15.25 Lakh to be delivered in Shivpuri. Following the order the courier company sublet the contract to Super Fast Cargo, located near Vardman Plaza at Tawa Market to deliver 15 boxes of tomato seeds and 3 boxes of computer to Shivpuri. The director of Super Fast Cargo Ashok Sahu took the responsibility to deliver the goods by June 7 in Shivpuri. Following the deal Sahu loaded the material in a bus bearing registration number MP33 PM 9090 on June 6. the conductor of the bus admitted that he had seen the goods loaded in the bus till Rajgarh but when the bus reached Guna bus stand the goods were missing. Even after ten days when the goods were not delivered, Patel reported the matter to the police.
