The Congress has presented a Charge Sheet against the BJP government and had attacked on the Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, here on Tuesday. In the 25-point charge sheet, it has alleged that the BJP leaders had taken the farmers suicide issue very lightly. To substantiate its claim, the party had highlighted the the then Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu’s statement in which he claimed –“Loan waive off had turned into fashion.”
The charge sheet was presented at a press conference, by the national media president Randeep Singh Surjewala, in which 25 instances and 19 scams were unveiled. The document is the compilation of the allegations against the BJP government which the party had raised from time to time.
It includes farmers’ plight and condition, foul play in crop insurance, crime against women, malnutrition, poor health services, infant mortality rate, maternal mortality rate, poor education situation, unemployment, Vyapam scam, e-tendering scam, and illegal sand mining among others.
While preparing the document the party had also put the question on their own party government. The then Rajasthan Congress government chief minister Ashok Gehlot and Union Minister Sachin Pilot name had came allegedly into the 108 ambulance scam, the CBI is conducting an enquiry into the matter. The leader alleged that the MP-BJP government had given the contract to the same company which is involved in irregularities.
BJP criticises jibe against Naidu
BJP criticised the Congress on the issue of taking name of Vice-President in their chargesheet. BJP spokesperson Rajnish Agarwal alleged that the Congress party keeps the constitutional Posts below the 10 Janpath, with their comments they keep commenting against the persons holding the constitutional posts.
