Terms BMC action of removing hoarding of corruption in Simhastha as vandalism
BHOPAL : The Congressmen led by the party state president Arun Yadav submitted a complaint to the CSP on Wednesday demanding action in two cases, of trespassing occurred in the District Congress Committee (DCC) and Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) offices.
The district administration and Bhopal Municipal Corporation had forcibly removed the flex banners and hoarding showing corruption in the Simhastha which were displayed at the Jawahar Bhawan on Tuesday.
Again on the intervening nights of Tuesday and Wednesday the banner and hoarding of same nature were also removed from PCC office by some unknown persons.
Yadav, DCC president PC Sharma and others staged dharna at the Jawhar Bhawan at Roshanpura Square on Wednesday. After staging dharna the Congressmen marched towards the TT Nagar police station and gheroad the police station.
Congress spokesman JP Dhanopiya and state president Yadav asked CSP RD Bhardwaj to register the case against mayor Alok Sharma and commissioner for entering the DCC office without permission. They alleged that the administration have committed dacoity and loot in the office.
They took away the hoardings without their permission and damaged the property. They alleged that the BMC acted as goons and created panic in the city.
Earlier speaking at the dharna venue, Yadav alleged that the state government has committed Rs 4000 corruptions in organising Smihastha fete.
