Nagda: A sit in has been proposed by former MLA Dilip Singh Gurjar and City Congress President Subodh Swami on October 12 from 11am to 3pm at the local Girl’s School Square in Nagda- Khachrod Legislative assembly area with the issue of pension distribution to the worthy families before Dipawali and grain supply under the food security Act. Poor, aged and handicapped nominated for the pension from the government are still wandering about the city council office and other government departments to get their 5- 6 months pending pension. Recently the Collector had promised to act immediately but so far nothing seems to be working. The financially weak people relay too much onto the government pension and considering the biggest hindu festival Dipawali a few days ahead is even more serious issue. The former MLA Dilip Singh Gurjar and Congress President Subodh Swami stated that the government is reluctant to take substantial steps to solve the matter and this is filing up thousands of pension beneficiaries with rage. The families are not being given their share of grain under the food security bill.
