Coal rake unloading stops as labourers strike work

UMARIA : The labourers have not been given wages for coal rake unloading at Sanjay Gandhi Thermal power project so they have stopped work and started strike on August 2.

The contractual labourers said that the contractor is exploiting the labourers and do not provide salary in time. They alleged that the labourers are being threatened and the supervisor is always ready to beat them.
