HOSHANGABAD: Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan will inaugurate the new unit of Narmada Apna Hospital on Harda Bypass Road, Rasulia in the city on Wednesday. Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr Sitasharan Sharma, health minister Narottam Mishra, public works department minister Sartaj Singh and former Union minister Suresh Pachouri would be the guests of honour in the function being organised to inaugurate the first super speciality hospital of Hoshangabad. The 120-bedded facility is the second venture of the Narmada Health Group in the city with its first unit successfully operating at Kothi Bazaar.
The hospital would treat all ailments including cardiac, gastroenterological, pulmonary, gynaecological, orthopaedic, paediatric disorders and others. Managing director of the Narmada Health Group Dr Renu Sharma said the Rasulia unit is offering a unique scheme for the city residents.
Anyone who becomes a member for a nominal charge of Rs 120 per year could get free of consultation from specialists of the hospital for any number of times during a year. If a member needs no consultation for health complication through out a year his membership would be renewed in the next year with no additional charge, said Dr Renu Sharma.
