BHOPAL: Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan will embark on a tour of Singapore from January 12 to 15 with a high-level delegation to promote foreign investment in the state. Chauhan would be accompanied by industries minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia, senior officials and major industrialists. The delegation would meet major companies in Singapore, industrial groups and business organisations and invite them for Global Investors Summit to be held in 2016 in the state. Chauhan would reach Singapore on January 12. On the next day, he would meet Lee Kuan U Exchange Fellowship (LKYEF) President AD Teo and Singaporean industries minister S Ishwaran. Later on the same day, he would meet Minister of State for Defence and External Affairs Mohd Maliki Bin Osman, ESM Goh Chok Tong. Chauhan would also meet Singapore’s Prime Minister Hasen Loong and take part in a public lecture at Institute of South Asian Studies with his delegation of representatives.
On January 14, Chauhan would take part in a business seminar and hold discussion with representatives of International Enterprises and Singapore Business Federation. He would also go to Sentosa Island. On January 15, Chauhan would meet Singapore’s Development Minister Lorence Yong.
