BHOPAL : Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, in order to contain the growing resentment in his own party MLAs towards the government, will have one-to-one meetings with them from December 24 to 26.

During Winter session of Vidhan Sabha, the resentment among the MLAs towards Ministers and officers was for all to see both inside and outside the House.

MLAs made complaints to Chauhan about several Ministers and IAS officers. They told Chauhan that developmental works have come to a halt in their constituencies due to obstinacy of officers. They said it is difficult for them to work as no body talks to them properly despite making rounds of Mantralaya. Anil Firodiya, MLA from Tarana of Ujjain district, said three stop dams were constructed in his constituency but they were washed away in rainy season. Despite making complaints about it on many occasions to Additional Chief Secretary, Water Resources, Radheshyam Julania, nothing has been done so far. Firodiya is going to write to Chief Secretary Antony De Sa in this matter. MLA Welsingh Bhuria lamented who is going to listen to them when all MLAs had to go to CM to get a TI removed. Several MLAs shared their agony with Chauhan in their meetings during Assembly session.

Chauhan intends to solve the problems of the MLAs through this meeting and also wants to take feedback of oficers from them.
