Nanpur (Alirajpur) : The long awaited dream of providing sufficient Narmada water to every farm will now come true through the micro irrigation project for the villages of Jobat area and martyr Chandra Shekhar Azad extension region along with the entire Alirajpur. We are determined to make tribal villages self dependent. This was stated by the state Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on the occasion of Bhoomi Pujan of first irrigation project of the town. He also dedicated drinking water scheme to the public.
During this, regional MLA Nagar Singh Chauhan, former BJP district president Kishore Shah, collector Shekhar Verma and several officials of the Narmda Valley Development Authority (NVDA) were present.
Praising the efforts of the Chief Minister, MLA Chauhan said that he always thought about the prosperity of the farmers and now their dream of green revolution would also be fulfilled. Along with these projects, the chief minister also approved many demands including contrsuction of community health center, hostel for the students, boundary wall construction at Krishi upaj Mandi etc.
On the occasion, Dashrath Chandel, municipality president Sena Patel, Bhagwati Prasad Jaiswal, Mand president Ajam Singh, Kathiwada japad president Bhadu Pachaya and several other politicos, public representatives and villagers were present.
